WW..this week's challenge

....Or should I say, this month's challenge (since I haven't been challenging myself the last few weeks).

Well, it should be clear by all my "sick" blogs that my immune system is shot. I have a sneaking suspicion it has something to do with my lousy diet. As of late, I've been living almost solely off of candy, candy bars, cakes, cookies and ice cream. Mostly candy. I am rarely consuming anything that could be described as nutritionally dense. I have fallen into a serious rut & it's time I pull myself out of it. My cells are in desperate need of something they can work with.

My Goal:
Eat a minimum of 7 servings of fruits and vegetables each day for the next 7 days. This shouldn't be too difficult. Not too long ago, I would make a "green smoothie" every morning for breakfast, which is about 5 servings alone (if I don't share with my kids).

I'm wondering if I should count the Raisinets I had for breakfast this morning???



JUST a NOTE about Wednesday's Whetting:

I have mixed feelings about this whole silly idea because;
  1. The name is ridiculoous, I just can't get used to it.
  2. It might be good if I actually pursued meaningful things. One of these days I promise to challenge myself to do something important, like feed the homeless or teach English classes to the Myanmar refugee families that have moved in down the street.
Someday, I'll actually get around to doing something outside of myself. But for now, it's all about the bananas and broccoli I guess.
