....And when I looked over:

Can I just tell you how much I love being a mother? It's either Lego-spies, or a doll tucked under a washcloth in my drawer, or homemade icicles in the freezer - and lots of love notes and pictures. Just yesterday, Eddie wrote "I {heart} You Mom" on the mirror with his finger, so when I got out of the shower, I could read his cute steamed message.
And how about this:
It's the best. THE BEST -- being a mom. Having little sidekicks around. It's the absolute best (did I say that already?)
You Know what?
After discovering the Lego-guy, it occurred to me that I really am being watched.
All the time.
Only, it wasn't that sort of guilt trip feeling. I just felt grateful, and wanted to be better, and let my kids see how happy (how unbelievably happy) I am to have them around.
It goes by so fast.

LOL! Lego guys spying on you!! That is awesome! I love the note Ada drew up too, how freakin' cute is that!
downright eerie.
Love it! I complain about the legos scattered all over my house (and in Lucy's mouth) but love their imaginative play. And the notes, oh the notes, just tug at the heartstrings, don't they?
OH that is too cute!! and funny! How are you Mel? I feel like I haven't see or talked to you in forever! Hope all is well! Hope we see you on Thanksgiving! It's my year with my fam this year so we are going to leave John and Jaye's around 3. You going to be there early??
