In your children is fascinating to observe. To discover you are the source of it is, well frankly, it's a lot of fun. Either way you can be sure, each little person is his/her own self through and through, which is pretty cool.
JACK:
When Jack was two, he would absolutely freak out if his socks became twisted or loose in the toes. And we're the mean kind of parents who would occasionally put his socks on heel side on top after his bath, just for a good laugh.
EDDIE:
Eddie doesn't get people who aren't nice and friendly at meeting. I don't really blame him. Who starts off being a jerk to someone they don't know? But when he meets someone like that at school he has a hard time letting it go. It drives him crazy, in fact.
ADA:
Recently, I was singing along with the radio. I echo sing if I don't know the words. You know, the singer sings a line, and I repeat it right after. I wasn't even really conscious that I was doing it until Ada tried to politely tell me that "I really, really don't like it when you do that Mom. Could you please stop?"
"Stop what?"
"Singing. Like that..."
(I'm still clueless as to what she means)
"But I like to sing."
"Okay, but sing AT THE SAME TIME. I REALLY don't like it when you do that."
"Ohhhhh, you mean like this?"
And I did it louder.
I eventually stopped. I can be agreeable, eventually.
Oh, and she also really, really, really dislikes the word 'heinie'.

Kids are so much fun to watch grow into their own person! Noah hates to have things not match. Like if he is playing with cars he has to have two of the same style car or two similar trucks. He can't play with a car and a truck at the same time, that would just be dumb!
Elias freaks out when his thumb or one of his fingers gets stuck in his sleeve. He is only one and already something bugs him.
Love the post about your kids! Miss you guys!
That is so funny! Thanks for giving me the only laugh I will probably have today! I needed it! :)
