A Valentine Letter.

I found it while cleaning today.
I want to post it, before I mail it.

The letter was written with a fountain pen in the most carefully constructed cursive an eleven year old boy could manipulate.  So careful was he in his curves and connecting, that he skipped quite a few letters.  The letter also includes his current signature sketch of a sharp toothed dragon.

Wicked cool.  (I have to say that because if I say, "It's sooooo cute", Eddie will be insulted).

The fountain pen (an inexpensive disposable type) was given to him by his mother on Valentine's day.
He, like his father, is very particular about his writing instruments and has been begging for a fountain pen for a while now.

Anyway, the letter:

My Valentines Day

Dear Grandma Jaye and Grandpa John,
My Valentines day was great.  How was yours?  At school we passed out valentines.  I got tons and tons of valentines and candy.  I know what you're thinking - no I do not like any girls yet and any way I can't go out until I am 16.

From:  Eddie

PS:  I'm serious.

oh my goodness- so super cute!!! My little bro just turned 16 on Sunday and my brother and sis in law gave him gifts to help him out with the ladies. =) (razers to shave his peach fuz, cologne, breath strips, chap stick, etc...it was cute. =) Thank goodness little Eddie has some time before that hits you as parents.
