"I want to tell you somethin. I'm old but I do know this. If you ever want to feel full in this life, you're gon have to ask if you might be made for something bigger than yourself. And when you can answer that, the only other question is what are you gon do about it." THE SWEET BY AND BY ...by Todd Johnson
melissa, your question has given me a lot to think about. thank you. xox
Having Patience- though I have none Having Charity - I'm working on it (I think God gives us a little inherently because of our calling) Being Fun - I try Being Hot (just kidding). :)
Patience, patience, patience. I struggle with it every day, poor Thomas, he gets the brunt of my weakness. I have plenty of love, and fun with my kids but I lack enough patience, so that is one virtue I admire greatly in other mothers.
Well, my first response was going to be patience. I really didn't have much until my youngest was born and I named her patience, then every time I would get angry at her and go to scream her name, I would remember. I think it is most important to have the spirit with you and listen to it. And I also believe in free agency to the degree that what they want to do will not harm them nor anybody else. Like wear that awful outfit, etc. And don t forget PRAYER! PS I think you are a great mother and I love you.

Sense of humor, patience, and enabling your kids to be the best versions of themselves (helping them to do what they want to do)
