Please Don't Laugh...

at my list.

And yes, I realize that technically I am breaking my rule by posting this...
It's just that, sometimes creating accountability using the blog works for me (except in the case of my "waking up early" goals), so shouldn't I use the blog to motivate me to using the blog again?

Is that very strange (the previous sentence and the idea behind it)?

I don't know if my list will look ridiculous to you generally-productive-and-hard-working people, but here it is anyway:

So far I've only crossed off a few of these things... but I have several that are getting close to being done!  I was going to add "Eat ten sleeves of Oreos in one week" just so I'd have something else to cross off, but then I realized it would contradict one of my other goals (drat)...

So here's to motivation through accountability via the blog.  Feel free to ask me how it's going.  Some of these will be much easier to accomplish than others.  Who knows, if I keep eating the quantity of junk food that I am currently consuming, I may never blog again.  Except to post for sale my Banana Republic jeans that I love so much.  :)  And if I'm to be honest as a junk food junkie, I can't say that it's necessarily such a bad trade off.

Summer is 2/3 done...here's to a productive August!

I am all about accountability on the blog!

I lost 15 pounds tracking everything I ate and my workouts on my blog...(sooo embarrassing when I had to write what I gorged on at the superbowl party).

Sadly I've gained some of it back so it may be time to start the Phblog -- food blog-- again.

Love you Meliss, And I am sending you some SERIOUS positive chi on your goal accomplishing.

So what I got out of this post was that you think you waste too much time when you blog and you aren't getting anything done????? Correct me if I'm wrong...

I had to set a restriction for myself with blogging. Maybe you could try something like that too? Like I can only check others blogs once a week...but I can get on and post as often as I have something to post about...I felt like I was wasting sooo much precious time when I would log on! Just an idea so that you don't fall off the blogging face of the earth. =) I've missed your posts.

Love ya!

I make lists for everything, but that's about as far as it gets. I should work a lot harder on crossing things off than putting them on. I know you'll do better. Glad you're back :)

If you ever need someone to eat Oreos with, I'm your girl! But first I need to get that YW stuff crossed off my list...

p.s. It looks like your blog helped you with some Personal Progress, so it can't be all bad. I go on blog "diets" too. And then I go on blog gorges... and blog-stalk all the people I have on my list who I haven't looked at forever. Like now. Speaking of gorging, I really need some Oreos. Need.
