21.9.11

"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."

-Indigo Montoya (The Princess Bride)

{Day 22}

Words are often a peculiar thing
I really like them so -
but it can be hard to use them
when the meaning does not flow

If you need an example, well,
today I thought  - perfunctory -
this word should not include the fun
it leads me to perplexity

not to mention inevitible misuse
this word which rolls so,  off the tongue
a pleasure to say - multi-syllables, too
makes the definition just seem wrong!
