I am grateful for this day!  It was delightful, lovely, so very nice in every way. 

1.  I woke up early and walked outside to the softest, quietest, fluffliest snowfall.  It was magic.

2. I then drove to an early morning "band practice".  I've been lucky to sing with two amazing women and the Stratford Street Big Band the last little while.  These singers are so much more talented/experienced/trained/etc. than I am, but they've let me tag along and I am LOVING it.  It's mostly 40's style swing/dance music.  I am thankful they let me sing with them, it's a blast!  

3. Afternoon date with Sam at the mall.  I've never been a big shopper.  But I love shopping with Sam.  He encourages me to try the fancy perfumes and is always great company.  He makes me laugh and is a good friend. 

4. Then I got to babysit my darling nieces.  Two of my kids came along, which made tending easy as pie and lots of fun.  I love my family.  I love those sweet little girls.

5.  Now I'm safe at home.  I'm thankful to have a roof over my head, and children tucked in soundly. 

6.  I felt pretty good today.  I think the gorgeous weather helped.

So much to be thankful for today.
