WEDNESDAY'S WHETTING

As it happens, today (Wed.) is going to be a "stretch" day. A "go-out-on-a-limb-and-probably-fall-flat-on-your-face- but-that's-okay-because-the-experience-is-good-for-you" kind of day. So, in honor of today's experience (which I will divulge in complete detail AFTER the fact), I've decided to dedicate every Wednesday, as Wednesday's Whetting. (I know, the title is weird, but alliteration is very important to me for some reason). What does this all mean exactly?

1. Like many of you clever Bloggers, I too now have a kitschy "thing" that will possibly entertain readers from week to week, and encourage me to keep writing in this blog.

2. I will give myself a weekly challenge. Some examples;

• It may be something wild and crazy, or scary (like today ::help!:: ), OR
  
• It may just be that I attack a project I have been procrastinating, OR
  
• It may be, what Sam calls "mental gymnastics" (or was it "moral gymnastics"?). It is something that it is challenging, or out of character--just for kicks, you know, to make darn sure I am the master of the "natural man" - Something Ben Franklin would do, probably. Like, NOT get on the computer to read Blogs for an ENTIRE day, (gasp!).
  

3. Ideally, there should be a point to it. The term "whetting", implies fine tuning and sharpening- so these Wednesday pursuits should be in line with what my vision is for myself, and my life.

Sooo.... what's on the list for today? You'll just have to wait and see (the picture is a clue).
