Summer Vacation

Is in full swing, and I've gotta say...

I like it!

TO DO LIST for MONDAY

1. Whatever we want!

Also On the list of possibilities:
1. Cut boys' hair
2. Go on a hike?
3. Visit the library
4. Costco: out of briquettes for the grill. (And tonight we're having grilled pizza-our new favorite thing).
5. Sit around outside and watch my kids do tricks on their bikes/ripstick.
6. Be REALLY patient and fun and nice to my kids. (after all, they are my sweet children).
7.Plant what's left of my flowers (poor things, they've been sitting in their plastic containers for two weeks now.) And maybe I'll plant some corn if it's warm enough (though I'm probably too late in the season, I'm going to try it out).
8. Clean.... when is this NOT on the to do list?
9. Get batteries. (Tried to take a picture this morning, but I'm out.)

Bummer! I wanted to take a picture of the flower pots I got at the D.I. (second hand store) last week. There were tons. Different shapes and colors, and very inexpensive...but my camera is out of batteries, and I don't have enough extras...

Still in the plastic pots, weren't they like that when we visited you for your Birthday? he he

I totally understand. I am very stressed out with everything that I must accomplish this week. Especially before Enrichment tomorrow.

Good luck with all the things you need to get done!

LOL! They were! (I had just bought them as a birthday present to myself)! Man, has it been three weeks already...sheesh, poor little plants.

You forgot to add "read blogs: those known and the innumerable curiosities to which they are linked" to your list.

And now the world might know why even the potless poor flowers make the "possibilities list" while the unfortunate, tormenting half is left to contemplate summers past. Alas, summer vacation is not for us all!

Dearest Unfortunate-Tormenting-Half,

I can't help it if my "job" is so likeable, and my co-workers are more easy on the eyes than yours...

(btw S, have I told you how much I appreciate you lately?)

I love summer! But the heat can really get to me sometimes. I agree with the cleaning it is always on my list...

I love you! I've been meaning to ask you about that grilled pizza...do you have a good dough recipe? I think we'd love that!
